A big congratulations to graduate student Haoliang Zheng for his recent paper in Protein Science! In a project funded by the Welch Foundation, Haoliang improved the methods available for quantifying noncovalent interactions in folded proteins. His method allowed him to make the first experimental measurements of underappreciated hydrogen bonds in beta sheets. Learn more here.
